The botulinum toxins are the most dangerous compounds naturally available (1000s of times more dangerous than cyanide).
They are developed by anaerobic bacteria and are typically found under different families ( A,B, C, D, E, F and G). The A, B and E are the most toxic forms for the human bodies. The A form is mainly developed in the US, although more dangerous than the B it is also much less stable. The B form is found in Europe and some regions of North America.
Botulinum toxin is listed as a Category A agent by The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC of Atlanta) and it is noteworthy that beside its extreme potency and lethality botulinum toxins are easy to produce, to store and to transport.
