Botulinum Toxin A and B Detection
Pharmaleads has developed EzyBot®Case, a product including a field detection equipment and its reagents to give a sure answer, within a maximum of one hour, to a suspected presence of Botulinum Toxin A and B.
This easy to handle field case can also be used on a routine basis as a prevention tool.
The EzyBot® Case includes:
A portable fluorimeter
A portable incubator to be plugged in a car’s cigar lighter socket
EzyBot® A and EzyBot® B ready to use reagents to perform the tests
This 4 KG portable laboratory allows the detection of Botulinum Toxin A and B within one hour by a plant operator with no specific skills requiremement.
To insure a proper protection of the population against the risk of Botulinum Toxin A and B served by your water system implement a relevant procedure relying of the use of EzyBot®. To purchase the EzyBot® Field Case access access our CATALOG.
Robustness
To meet the operations requirements of water utilities Pharmaleads has successfully and repeatedly applied its assay for quantification with water samples from different origins. With the same success Pharmaleads has also conducted a wide range of robustness tests of its EzyBot® assays with water samples artificially overloaded with chemical compounds such as: nitrites, nitrates, iron (Fe3+), copper (Cu2+), manganese (Mn2+), bleaching agents, enzymes (from washing powders), chlorine and ClO2 . More information on these tests can be provided by Pharmaleads to qualified professionals.
Very easy to use
The assay consist in introducing 2 ml of the water sample in a ready-to-use cuvette and to wait after stirring for few minutes at 37°C. No cumbersome handlings and no specific skills are required to perform the assay. The result is seen after placing the cuvette in a small field fluorimeter provided with the EzyBot® case. This simplicity of use allows routine testing by plant operators. The proper use of the assay doesn’t require advanced training or qualification. The EzyBot® A and EzyBot® B assays are therefore the protection devices that would allow water utilities and water authorities to implement the maximum safety to their community.
